What is a QTVR Panorama?

QTVR panorama is a QuickTime movie that allows the viewer to pan to the right or to the left to get a full 360 degree view of the area displayed. Sometimes the movies are created to allow you to tilt up and down to see what is outside the frame in those directions as well.

How to Look Around in a QTVR Panorama?

Place your mouse cursor inside the movie window. While holding down the mouse button drag to the right or to the left to see the rest of the scene. In some cases dragging up or down will show more of the scene as well. Notice that the farther you drag the cursor the faster the movie pans. The first time around a panorama is usually a bit jerky as the image is being decompressed as you go. Subsequent times around will be smoother.
