Graduate Assistantships

Assistanships are available in the following areas: Music Theory, Music History, Bands, Jazz, Technology, Strings, Voice, Opera/Choral, Keyboard, and Percussion.

Responsibilties
Approximately 20 hours per week assigned from teaching, research, administrative duties, or assisting in rehearsals.

Salary
Nine-month stipend of $6000 plus tuition remission.

Qualifications
A baccalaureate degree in music from an accredited college or university. Undergraduate grade-point (unrecalculated) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Performance degree applicants must audition on their principal instrument. Composition degree applicants must submit evidence of compositional skills.
