Brass Chamber Ensemble

The Dana Brass Ensemble will meet as a regular ensemble with it’s primary objective being to play standard brass literature and quality transcriptions in a professional manner.

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will occur twice a week for a combined rehearsal time of three hours per week. All players must attend all rehearsals and performances.

Dress Rehearsals:
These will occur on the same day as any 8:00 p.m. Bliss Recital Hall concert. They will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m. and will last no more that one half hour. These rehearsals are held for sound checks and other logistical purposes. Players may store cases in the Green Room after the dress rehearsal for that evening’s concert.

Concert Dress:
All concerts and run-outs are CONCERT BLACK.
Men: Tuxedo, Black shoes and socks
Women: Basic Black
All convocations and chamber winds concerts are semi-formal.
Men: Kakhis, Shirt, Ties
Women: Slacks/Skirt, Blouse
