The Burton-Middlefield Rotary's annual fundraising event is a Pancake Breakfast served every Sunday in March, except Easter! On an average Sunday about 1800 pancake breakfasts are served. |

The College of Education was officially founded as a part of the University in 1960. In 1998 it became known as the Beeghly College of Education and moved into Beeghly Hall located on Lincoln Avenue. The college offers three main departments: Department of Teacher Education, Department of Counseling and Special Education, and the Department of Educational Foundations, Research, Technology, and Leadership. The College of Education also does charitable work in which they donate to organizations that benefit the education of children in our area. |
